Tonbridge Daily Snippet

The Cage, a deer park, lay between Shipbourne Road and Hadlow Road in KingHenry VIII's 16th century.  It later became farming land and is now known as Cage Green, a residential area of North Tonbridge

  1. This would explain the Deer's head on my grand-daughter's Cage Green Primary school badge.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that a group of gentlemen wanted to build an airport at Cage Green too. Does anyone know anything about this?
