Tonbridge Daily Photo

Tonbridge Daily Photo #374
It's half-term and The Slade School is looking peacefully serene bathed in autumn sunshine. The school opened its doors in 1907 for the first time, and has served the local community since that time.

  1. My Dad went to Slade school. He was born in Havelock Road and my ancestors, on Dad's side, all came from the area. I have many good memories of holidays spent in Tonbridge. Playing in the Castle grounds, sports ground, the miniature railway and visiting the weekly animal market. Feeding the squirrels and swans. Glad I found this blog :)
