If you are interested in the history of your town Pat Mortlock from the Tonbridge Historical Society will be speaking about the growth of Tonbridge as a market town at the main town library in Avebury Avenue.
The talk will take place next Wednesday, September 21, and begins at 2pm. Tickets are £1.
Earliar this year I received a parking ticket[unfairly] in Tonbridge Highstreet even though the council refused to accept my explanation I decided to take it further.
ReplyDeleteOn the due day I travelled to Brighton for the case to be heard[losing a days work].
When I arrived the usher told me the councils hardly ever defend in person.
Tonbridge council sent two people[we paid the wages for a days beano to Brighton]what a waste of time of course I didnt have to pay the ticket should never have been written.
Tonbridge Council should be more careful with tax payers money.
