The foliage against Tonbridge Castle Chamber is looking thoroughly tropical in the autumn sunshine. Tall exotic banana plants with their jungly leaves are creating a stunning effect against the sandstone walls. I presume these are summer bedding and won't survive the cold winter and hard frosts, so hopefully they will be moved to a greenhouse or inside for winter protection. I love them and hope they'll be back next year.
