Tonbridge Daily Snippet

The Old House at Home pub at Lambs Banks was the favoured drinking place of the Quarry Hill Brickworks worker. The pub/drinking house was run by Squire Ashby and as the name may suggest it was probably at his home.  The building as well as the adjoining cottages disappeared well before the brickworks closed.

The last remaining feature of this Tonbridge business was erased in 1993 when the iconic brickworks chimney was demolished.
